Rejected, ignored, teased to complete submission, tortured…ah, just another day in the sexual life of the peeps who populate my new book, from WordWooze Publishing:
Denied: Stories of Male & Female Sexual Ache.
I pulled no punches here. Every kind of couple is represented, heterosexual, gay male, and lesbian; friends as well as long-time lovers; people of a more ‘mature,’ vintage age, and those younger, just starting out with their sexual conundrums and experiences; and via devices as much as only soft suggestion. I figured if I was going to explore the intricacies of sexual denial, hardcore or soft, I needed to explore the mind games, chastity toys, and relationship dynamics that push the people in my stories to seek out and sometimes push past the limits of their physical, mental and emotional needs.
Niche erotica writing takes the author as well as reader a step further from just everyday erotica, which is, in and of itself, a pursuit that takes skill to pull off efficiently. And while it is not for me to say if I do this, with this new book or any I publish (I am just too humble to ever speak to the merits of my own scribbling) I’d say getting into the mindset and describing the physical acts of sexual denial did indeed lead me down some heretofore untrammeled writing highways and byways.
I just hope I did the people and the scenes in these stories justice.
I also need to give a “shout out” to the wonderful
Wordwooze publishing. This company continues to treat me like gold (and not only me, M. Christian, my good friend, co-host here and the person who actually put me on to Wordwooze) has been published by this company as well. We talk all the time on how well the company treats us. In fact, in the case of “Denied” and my last one with Wordwooze,
Women Spanking Women (I’ll let you take a guess what that one is about!) the powers-that-be at the company sought me out, in a specific kind of way, wanting to release the books.
And I am ever grateful that they did.
And has been the case for most of my past few books published by Wordwooze, I am told the audiobook version of “Denied,” will appear within the next few months.
Thank you to Wordwooze. You can grab
