LNV 40 is up!

Reaching this big # 40! (where did they all go?), Chris and I give another naughty podcast where you simply get our two momoheads, jawing away about…well…about what we usually jaw away about.

First, we hit on The Thunderbirds, then the Outer Limits and the connection we had at the “Beat Me” kink convention in St. Louis over some 60’s sci-fi.

And we slip in a little diner talk.

Then we talk about various mid 70’s television shows, Comic-Con, Banachek; yes, we are geeks, we freely admit it.

Then we get into the naughty writing life, rejections, growing a sense of perspective, and the question of book stores closing, how they all but buried themselves and bowed to Amazon, and why and how things could have easily changed on this front.

Chris gives a great assessment on what could have easily saved the big book seller business…as always, he is spot-on with his suggestion. He truly is one of the best futurist thinkers I know. Then I mention the infamous Fahrenheit 451 and the disappearance of great works or art, and Chris brings us round to the fact that there is still hope for presenting the greats, as well as what Chris is doing with 3D printing.

And lastly we ruminate on all things that were science fiction that are now our fact.

Sure, Chris and I are erotica writers, and proud to be so, But we are also old time fanboys of t.v. shows, movies and books that existed from a time before the term fanboy was even coined. Maybe some of you are also?

You can find the new Licking Non-Vanilla here at Skyhawk (proud as punch as we are to present it on this network) and we hope maybe you will search out some of the shows we mention in the broadcast to see what we are geeking-out over. There was a time when this kind of stuff really did matter to the mainstream, as you can hear it still so matter to Chris and me.
